Re: McCain's back on the ATTACK again

McCain is a has been and has no chance of winning the presidency. This is why he's so desperate to slam Obama in any way he can.

It is a new low in political ad campaigns. I can't think of another ad during a Presidential election that has stooped this low.

As a "practicing" Christian, it's a slap on the face and scurrilous insult to have this man use religious iconography, Moses, and the Incarnation theology to scare me out of voting for a candidate.
its kind of hard to see Obama for anything other than messianic when the media is worshipping at the barak-alter....

(Quoting one prominant and serious news man upon hearing an Obama speech: "I had a tingle go up my leg." )

Unfortunatly for McCain, this isnt a level playing field.

I'm not comfortable with a black president that thinks he's white that preys on the votes of blacks that know they are black.

More rationalizations for not running a dignified campaign.

This is pretty atypical of the last few GOP Presidential candidates.

Obama identifies more with being black than he does with being white. It's pretty common among mulattos. My wife is an exception. She looked me right in the eye once and said she couldn't understand why people were being prejudiced towards her because no one in her family was black. I quickly responded that no one was black except for her, her dad, her children, and any other of her descendants.

Re: McCain's back on the ATTACK again

Even the hard-hitting ads by the Vietnam Vets against John Kerry were not officially endorsed by the party. They were opinions by real participants in the war, under their own funding. Not a deceitful montage of political rhetoric and clips.

This is a distinct and unique strategy of negative ads using heavily charged rhetoric by the McCain campaign that I can't remember seeing in any of the last 3 Republican Presidents.

To hear some now take the win at all costs approach is ODD an unfamiliar.

Amazing how Obama gets such a free ride on this "high road"

Obamas folk contact an Israeli newspaper. "Hey our guy is going to put a prayer in the western wall. go get it and print it!"

How dare that paper do that why that is just awful! AND isn't Obama humble and wonderful????

Obama tells a crowd of people that McCain and the republicans are going to attack him because he "doesn't look like the presidents on our money"

McCain's people point out how racist this is. Obama "IM hurt! I wasn't talking about what I look like, just that I'm not a Washington insider!"

2 points here,
1. Obama used the words "LOOK LIKE"
Now I don't have a degree from Regent in English, but I do know that if someone is pointing out what one looks like, and provides a picture of what one doesn't look like (guys on money) then one is reflecting on visual aspects that detail difference. Since we cannot with our eyes, see the difference between a "Washington insider" and one who is not, and considering the guys on the money don't look AT ALL like one another, we are left to assume Barak Obama was pointing that he (Unlike the guys on the bills) LOOKS black.

2. Conversely if Obama isn't LYING about this, then he is devoid of historic context. and therefore wholly unqualified to be president! Why you ask? Because fully half the dead presidents on the bills WERE NOT WASHINGTON Insiders! Lets extend this argument to ALL presidents. Obama (if he is not a Washington insider) "looks like" the last 2 presidents, 3 of the last 4 presidents. 4 of the last 5 presidents. One would have to therefore argue that in this context, Barak Obama looks more like the previous presidents than McCain does.... provided one were willing to divorce themselves from the fact that Obama was talking about being black and was absolutely playing the race card... something he certainly will not allow McCain to do.

Obama's high road is manufactured out of political mud. anyone pointing at McCain and claiming McCain is underhanded isn't being honest. lets not forget, Barak Obama effectively tagged the "first black president" as a white racist during the democrat primary.

High road my foot!
