Re: The Dark Knight

I think they call it "method acting" Where you merge the character into your own personality. Almost becoming that character. And if you lived it 12 hours a day for months while filming I can see why losing your own identity would be an easy thing to do.

Not sure about this? I heard Jake (Heaths lover in the movie) say that he was uncomfortable performing the gay sex scenes and that he definately did not have such proclivities. But Heath said that he felt good that he could show this kind of sex in a positive light. Not saying that he was gay--but that he did not have seem to have the same problems getting into character that Jake had.

Why? Should you have been offended?

The violence in the movie should have at least made me feel uncomfortable. I used to have a conscience..

Why should it make you feel uncomfortable? It wasn't real, Bro. It was just a movie. It's good to be able to separate fact from fiction. Nothing in that movie was real except the acting. A movie like that doesn't bother me a bit. However, the video I've seen of people being beheaded in Iraq still haunts me.

But, The Dark Knight. Let it be. It is not your average comic book movie. Trust me. Last Weekend, me and my lovely bride, on our date night, went to see it. Great Plot, and acting. But, it is very violent, and twisted, and dark.

Hence the name.................The dark Knight
That is the way Batman is supposed to be. Bruce Wayne is supposed to be a brooding, dark vigilante and his foes really are supposed to be psychotic criminals

It's not a prequel. It's a sequel
