Re: Have You Ever Had a Christian Enemy?

I have enemies that attend church. Calling them christian is a stretch.

Why are they my enemy? I have no idea what she has against me. This person has no concience and makes my life unhappy by spreading vile rumors about my family----At least I am not alone---she does that with anyone in leadership.

Re: Have You Ever Had a Christian Enemy?

Strange how we become enemies...When I read that blog about Brother SG...I cried and I do not even know him! Sherri is my friend but I cried thinking how can brothers that agree on so much slaughter the character and the family of another...after all he is baptized in Jesus Name, has the HG and loves the Lord...
but it happens...
I personally have had people that I helped, lived in my house and kept them up go out and tell all kinds of lies about our family.
I told someone the other day many times it is because that (ANY) person cannot be us they try to slaughter us...
Jealousy and greed are terrible vices...

What happens when two Christians, who become enemies, get to the judgement seat of Christ?
Christian brothers CANNOT stay enemies or they are disobeying Christ's command to love one another as well as:

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;brother hath ought against thee:
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Matt 5:23-24

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Eph 4:32

Is that even possible?

How can someone "Christ-like" have an enemy that is "Christ-like?"
It's much easier when people can determine you aren't really a Christian if you believe the way you do

Re: Have You Ever Had a Christian Enemy?

Sometimes there are personality conflicts which have nothing to do with Christianity.

Let me put it this way: There are a few "Christians" out there that I personally wouldn't give them the time of day. I absolutely can't stand arrogance!

I will put on a facade and smile while I'm around them, but inside I want to choke them!
