I made this statement because of oil. Democrats have years of on-the-record statements against any and all domestic oil production. Just as the immigration issue during 2004 was a golden ticket to whatever party wanted to tackle it, oil drilling and refining is this years.

Oh you are dead right about the Dems and oil prices. they even have a book "Earth In the Balance" that won their leader Al Gore a nobel peace prize which called for high gas prices so Americans would demand alternatives.

the dems have a clear track record of blocking all forms of increased supply. we now spend 700 billioin dollars a year paying foreigners for oil.

AND Barak "I hate America" Obama has stated officially that he isnt opposed to the current price of oil he just "regrets" that they rose so swiftly!

YOU ARE DEAD RIGHT that the republicans and John McCain now have their "ISSUE" to win both the Presidency as well as the House and Senate.

But I firmly believe they will all blow the oppurtunity....
