we are safe, Salmon are indeed both finned and scaled.


i am sure your hubby scaled the fish before giving it to you to cook.

lol This is what got my hubby's attention about 42 years ago. I mispelled Wednesday in our prayer and fast list for Sunday School and when arrived back to me it had been corrected. He still corrects my spelling and grammar/puntuation every chance he gets.

Guess the scales are so small I never noticed the scales. Usually someone blesses with them and all the work has already been done.
Salmon are just now beginning to show up here they are jumping in the harbor. Folks will be smoking their fish for the winter soon here. I love smoked salmon.

If there's one thing that makes me envious of people who live in Alaska it's the great fishing they enjoy. *sigh*

I just asked my hubby about scales on the salmon. He informed me they do have scales and that the biologist take samples for their studies on them. I was aware fo them having fins just forgot to mention them.
