Well, this actually was about the funny side of it, and while I don't necessarily disagree with what you are saying, I think you are taking a little liberty with your statement.
If the DS that you are referring to had a "TV" that would actually play TV shows, and you know for a fact that they did watch TV on it, then OK.
But as you stated it, it sounds like they had a TV set that they used to play videos on. Draw your distinction where you want, mock the inconsistency, whatever, but don't make untrue statements. Unless this DS was hooked up to cable, it is a near impossibility for him to get "TV" on his "TV".
