Thanks, Scott. That's another oldie that I like.
I have it on a CD by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner.
They do a great job on that and some of the others.
I especially like "Just Someone I Used to Know" by them.
Some friends of ours go to a "thumb picking" get together in western KY and I think Doc Watson's son is involved in that.

Hey, "Faded Love" is another of my favorites. I have it by Bob Wills.
I don't think his version could be considered bluegrass.
He's more of the "western" in country and western.
One of these days I'm going to download a whole cd of "Faded Love" from iTunes. I did this a while back with "The Great Speckled Bird." I have about 13 versions of that song on one CD. When I'm alone in my truck I can play it and sing along but my wife doesn't appreciate hearing it over and over by different people.

It's in my veins too, brother! My mother's side of the family, namely her aunts and uncle, were all bluegrass singers and musicians. I have many fond memories of accompanying them on the piano for a few years before they stopped signing.
When I listen to bluegrass, it takes me back to those joyful days! Here is a good one from 1978...Ricky Skaggs is singing lead.

I don't ever remember hearing that song before.
It's sorta like "John Henry."
