He knows lots of people on this forum.

Don't know what he found so offensive about posting that. It's in all the papers. My husband was reading it to me the other morning the same time was reading this thread. Hence my advice to *LIGHTEN UP*. I mean for cryin' out loud.

Hello my friends...
Yesterday I hooked up my computer and saw that I had offended someone by posting and then I posted but felt bad about it...I am sorry that whoever you are was offended I meant no harm I really thought it would be interesting for people to know that many terrible things happen in Brazil just like in any country...
In the northeast where I live people are known for their hot tempers, killings, somewhat like the "wild west" many years ago....Political gangs...so much always going on...devil worship and fear fills their hearts and minds.

Sorry, I offended you my friend. Please pray for us as we penetrate deeper and deeper into a world much different than the American culture.

Pray for my family, my daughter in law Marcela was unable to go to church yesterday she was so upset about robbers...she had a terrible headache. Our children do not say much but having all those masked men break in our house has had it affects... However Jesus has helped us and His precious people have prayed for our safety.

Please remember our son that is in the jungle area we still have not heard from him but we are hoping that contact is made this week...

Blessings to all....Sister Janice Alvear

In the pressing times we live in sometimes it is so easy to have the wrong spirit and I fight it many times as our flesh would like to say so many things...but when our flesh wins I have found out afterwards we are sorry...and on especially forums we express things and people read what we write in many moods...so the same thing sounds different to many ears...

I always have this "complex" about writing telling about the needs of Brazil as some people have said such "hard" things but the church I was in last night the pastor told me to never, never quit writing because he could feel the burden in my letters...so people are different....and I probably will always beg for a people that have so little and need so much, for villages and entire cities that know nothing about this wonderful truth...I still weep when I see the idol temples and clay gods...especially when I see people praying in tears to them...
Thanks for your kind words. Sister Alvear

notice how the chickens who mouth off to others never come back like a man and acknowledge they were WRONG in their superiority.....*roll eyes*

People need to stop and count to 10 before they judge the intent of others.

I counted to 10 before hitting submit
