we thought about that too.... but I cant see how in the world we would ever get the detergent out of it. that thing is thick. plus drying would take forever....even in Texas sun.

If so, take it to a laundry mat that has a large capacity washer/dryer and run it through there.

I would think it would be washable since it's made for babies!
this is my suggestion also

Yup!

That or take it outside and turn the hose on it!

Ferd,
Take it to a Laundry Mat and put it in the big front load washer. It won't hurt it.

They are not baby bumpers, they are crib bumpers. Good grief. The dry cleaner will not use harsh chemicals on baby stuff anyway.

Re: ****help!!!! How Do You Clean A Baby Bumper?

I suggest taking it to a laundromat where they have a 4 load size washer...fold it up and tie it inside a king size pillowcase.

It should protect it from bunching up and still get it clean

Oh, is that what you meant by a front load washer? lol

I just now it doesn't agitate the clothes, so it's safer. I wash my comforters at the laundry mat.

Re: ****help!!!! How Do You Clean A Baby Bumper?

I'm not exactly sure what the bumper is constructed of inside.Foam, polyfill etc. Also can the quilt be separated from the original Baby Bumper?
I have washed down filled coats and used Woolite and to dry throw a cloth tennis shoe in the dryer to keep the down fluffed up so it's not lumpy. I've done this with comforter also. We don't have a dry cleaners here so I've learned to improvise.
