That was our problem. We had a guy come over and he looked for ways they could get in. The first mouse seen was a large one....the mother.

The guy found a large place for them to get into through the garage. There is a door leading into the house from the garage. He simply got some kind of steel wool and plugged it.

Then he said to go buy glue traps. It took a while but we got them all

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

I don't know... I have a poodle mix in the house and a mutt out in the back yard, but she is on a chain. If possums are scared... they weren't scared of my dogs.

I have had my fill of wild creatures... I had a racoon get on my roof, it nearly ruined the roof trying to dig into the attic area. I was scared of those possums and rats in the basement...and as much as I don't like to think about it.... God only knows what came in the house while sleeping... ugg... anyway... some people came to weatherize my house and about freaked at my basement zoo... one guy refused to go back to the basement cause a possum hissed at him.

Anyway, they killed the possums.. patched up all places for animals to get in...capped the chimney... weatherized my house. I put that poison all over the basement and I have been pest free. thank you Jesus.

It actually is a decent house and has tons of updates including a new kitchen w/cathedral ceiling... however, I was told just the other day by a lead assessor (my house is being worked on again) that it was built in 1900... I thought the turn of the century but wasn't sure.

I hate old houses, but the longer I live here, the more I get attached.

Older houses have character, but it does take a major reno to upgrade everything.

yes it does... and since i was divorced, I have done some work.. like furnance/AC and some other stuff.... most renovations was done prior to divorce... my ex was in construction. One of my biggest frustrations is not being able to afford the upkeep like it really needs.

God blessed me with a local grant... that is why the lead assessor was at the house... they are going to be doing $15K worth of work on it over the summer. I am so excited.

Re: Mice Exterminating

I set two traps last night & they didn't take it.
Then my wife just yelled from the kitchen as she was talking on the phone when Mickey decided to make a sprint across the Kitchen floor towards the bottom of the fridge!

I steel myself with these words knowing the fight may be long and tiresome.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the Old.
