Well I'd say that as Christian, I'm not afraid of dying at all.
I'd only be afraid [or angry at myself/frustrated/disappointed] of dying without competing all that God wanted me to do.
This is the kind of stuff that can really make a person really take a step back and think:
a) How much time do I have left? (obviously none of us knows)
and
b)How much am I going to be able to get done for the Lord before it's time for me to go?
Pretty sobering stuff.
But God has a was of extracting good even out of bad situations. I bet there are a lot of saints reflecting on their mortality (and their legacy) in the wake of the Tim Russert news today.

I agree with you here, however, it would be scarry to me to lose my husband.

Re: Tim Russert Dies of Heart Attack!
I read he was a Jesuit educated. And that he had a private meeting with the previous pope.

An Update
It looks like Tom Brokaw is going to take over for Tim Russert on Meet The Press, at least through the election in November. I wonder if he will come out of retirement completely and take the show permanently.

Tom Sullivan a local talk show host who has moved up to Fox Business and has a national show now. Yesterday he had a leading Cardiologist on his program yesterday talked about Tim and how that he passed the normal screening for heart issues. The big discussion is how did he pass the normal tests and still have a heart attack.
The Doctor's response was very eye opening; he said the leading indicator for heart issues with males is the circumference of their waist lines. Anything size 40 or above and you will have problems and most likely have a heart attack.
In the past I was over that size in my waist, but since Feb. we joined a gym and I have lost about 25lbs. and have gone from a 40 to about 37 inch waist. I still have 20lbs to go, but I am taking this very seriously.

Re: Tim Russert Dies of Heart Attack!
Unfortunately there are so many unseen things that can also lead to heart attacks. My sister died last year at the ripe age of 23 from a massive heart attack. Weighed 148 lbs and was very healthy. Sometimes things just happen.
My half brother died in November from a heart attack also. He was in good health. 6 ft 3 and 196 lbs.. worked out daily and was a personal trainer in his off time from his job. Its scary that there are so many things we dont see that can lead to this. Genetics and many other issues can also be the cause
