BTW, I am a nobody. There are thousands of men and women who VOLUNTEER their lives to God every day. Missionaries, both at home and abroad who sacrifice to extreme measures. What a selfish bunch we are.

Even when we were pastoring a very small work we received some income from the church and later when we started a UPC work with only 5 tithers we received some income and the people helped us out in other ways as well. Our fellowship section paid our rent.

I could if I wanted to. The church writes something to me, and I give it back.

They are in the habit of giving. It is totally my choice.
