Such a heartwrenching tragedy!

That family is in my prayers.

I had a long talk with my son who will be 17 in two weeks but isn't driving yet about the consequences of stupidity. He was hearing me, but I hope he was listening.
I didn't see a main page?

Having just lost my 17 year old niece last September in a car accident, I want to tell you that I can understand what the parents are feeling. But the truth is that I cannot. I've watched my brother and SIL suffer and know that our suffering doesn't even begin to compare.

I'll pray too

Sorry, read the post too quickly.

I know what you mean... I wasn't allowed to go very far at all with my teenage brother. Even after he was out and working I didn't go far with him. I'm not sure if that was because my parents were afraid of his driving, or afraid of where he might take me. (as he wasn't serving God during part of that time period)

I never realized the burden parents bear until I had my own.

Unless those girls are drunk.

That evening, in Green Bay, a girl in her 20's was drunk and driving her Porsche over 100 miles an hour through town, T-boning a car carrying two newly graduated from high school girls, killing them both instantly. Of course, the drunk wasn't badly injured.

But otherwise, you are correct.

Too late today. The main page changes everyday, as it's the current daily news stories.

No. They donated his organs though, which is a good thing that comes from something so tragic. His sister died before they could donate hers.

This is a family of 'his, hers, and ours', where several children from elementary school to married with children are involved. These two were brother and sister of the same parents.

At first, I thought they were the only children. Not that it makes it less tragic, but in a way, it is, if that makes sense.

I can't imagine losing one child, but to lose them both, well, I wouldn't be able to go on with life.
