Bro, you know I'm a free thinka. Conservatives think I'm a raging liberal and the liberals think I'm a rightwing nut. That's because I choose what I think on each issue independently. For example I agree with the Republicans on energy...but I agree with the Democrats on health care.
Some will agree lock step with the side they choose. I don't. I make up my own mind. And in all honesty I think we're selling our troops a bill of bad goods. We should do far more for them.
It seems to me you are always siding with whatever idea would end up costing us more and more of our hard earned money.
This is targetted to those who are currently serving. Yes, it may draw some into the military but remember...it's war time. They'll know going in they will be deployed before receiving benefits.

Essentially what you’re saying is that it’s better to recruit those the military would have previously had never taken, such as ex-felons, than to reward troops currently serving or seek to attract better recruits with better G.I. Bill benefits.

Bro you and I both served. I think they deserve our best. You guys sound like you just want to save money. One guy was already concerned it might cost him some hard earned money to give better college benefits to those who are dying in the desert in service to our country.
