On the realty side, I heard there are a bunch of banks in trouble in the US.
If they fail while it won't be the end of the world, it does mean that a lot of savings & investments will be lost & wiped out.

Preserving banks will be more important than preserving investments.

A women at our savings and loan told me a couple of years ago that they are going to eventually combine everything into one central bank system. She was just telling me that as a matter of fact story.

This scripture does not encourage foolishness, and a lack of planning.

This would be akin to saying "why work? God will take care of me."
