Re: Houston Texas Churches

Life Tabernacle is a great church. However, it is more SE in Houston.

Good luck.

There are a lot of fine churches in Houston.

I recommend Champion Life Centre (Spring Tabernacle). James Green is the pastor there. My husband and I attend and have found the ministry to be powerful and the people genuine.

The other suggestions here are great as well. Couldn't really go wrong.

That may or may not appeal to you.
Is he going to stay UPC?

I see that he is with the WWPF group.

I heard yesterday that he has joined the Tulsa group and this is causing some consternation because his son or son-in-law or something like that is a UPC official and is staying with the UPC.

Re: Houston Texas Churches

There are many, many Oneness Pentecostal churches in the Houston Texas.

Some of them actually recognize and fellowship one another.

Re: Houston Texas Churches

speaking of Oneness Pentecostal churches in Houston,

there used to be a church there pastored by Bro. Kidson, who was an old time Oneness Pentecostal pioneer. I think his daughter was married to Bro. Gordon Magee who wrote "Is Jesus in the Godhead Or Is the Godhead in Jesus?" Is that church still alive and well, and if so, what is the name and who is pastor? if anybody knows.

Anyone know of a good church to visit? I know most of you are UPCi, but not all. I am really indifferent at this point to the organization (as long as they are Oneness Pentecostal/Apostolic)....once I visit I can determine through interaction and prayer if its right for me.

Maybe you live here, or you have family here....or a cousin....

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Its hard to look through the phone book, because not every church that claims to be Apostolic is “sound” in their belief system (from reading some of the web sites and their “belief” statements).

Thank you, and please keep me in your prayers during this transition in my life.
My in-laws are moving to Hoston and they plan on Attending Jabo Green's church in Spring Texas.

He is former UPCI.

His son James is now pastor and hid dad is the Bishop.

This is a great church from what I am told. I got friends that go there. They were having marriage trouble and they descided to visit there and God touched them and restored their marriage. I listen to Pastor James preach alot over the net and really, really like him.
