It had nothing to do with the owners/leaders. People are looking to blame owners & leaders for stuff beyond their control. The POSTERS make the forum what it is. Not who holds the domain name, who pays the hosting, etc.

They ran Mark ... in my opinion because the influence these internet forums are having on people .... throughout Pentecost.

Some wanted the prestige of ownership but not the negatives inherent in providing a platform for divergent thought in a culture that stifles it......

They could have AT THE VERY LEAST wrote and told us why they were leaving instead of leaving us to speculate!!!

I think they ran because of peer pressure! They probably got lots of phone calls complaining about what they were allowed to be posted on this forum. They believed their beliefs were being trashed!

Some of us simply accept it as it is (read: aren't concerned with why they left), instead of trying get the dirt on things.

Their reasons are obviously personal to them, or else they'd feed your appetite to know every detail. People do have the right to not give you the personal details of every decision they make.
