I wonder if people just automatically watch larger people, thinking they are going to eat more?
... and I also wonder how many times these men went up.
Some of us actually do manual labor in days work! I am 5'8" and weigh in at 168 LBS. I once went to one of these buffets ate 13 lobster tails, 4 plates of crab legs, 2 plates of boiled shrimp, plus all the fixins and about a gallon of water...

My wife went to the car after I hit the nineth lobster tail!!!

Gotta go - she fixed me 4 or 5 bratwurst for supper!

WOW!! See! That's what burns me, Steve. People like you can eat plates and plates and plates of food like this and still stay small.

I, on the other hand, rarely ever finish even one plate of food and I do not snack in between. And you've seen me. You know (and I am the first to admit) I am not a small woman by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm not bothered by the fact that you can eat so much more and still stay small. I honestly have no desire to eat any more than I do.

I am bothered by those people who would take one look at me and shout "GLUTTON!!"

Having said this, I am now going to back out of this thread and stay away. It's pointless to argue with someone who has their mind made up (I am not speaking to you when I say this, Steve. I know you. I like you )

I can't believe no one has heard this story, I would give names but that would be in bad taste.
I must say I agree wholeheartedly that would be in bad taste

LOL! Trust me... that was very much the exception for me! I could be much heavier did I not control it 99% of the time! My wife and I used to weigh 25 - 30 LBS more... we determined to lose the excess and it was not easy - but it's been four years since we acheived our goal by way of Atkins/South Beach.

I am sorry people have unfairly characterized you, though - I really am. You are a wonderful person, and far it be from me to judge because someone has a few extra pounds.

Does this have anything to do with NLYP and his gallstones attack?

sidenote- I used to live in the Broadmoor subdivision of this same town and I learned to drive on the streets near this restaurant. I have never eaten there. This was on the otherside of the Intracostal and I was not allowed over there much.

What were you doing in Houma?

My good friend, Bro. Chad D., now pastors the UPC there.
