The kid needs a haircut badly but doesn't want to get one until March. By that time, he will be beyond having a regular cut and will probably burn out clippers that will be used (he's done that before because his hair is so thick and curly) and the bill might be quite high! LOL!
But alas, it's just a joke about the donations part.....

He's 16 and told me his hair is who he is and loves it that way. He wears it that way to church also.......thus the nickname (even called from the pulpit) Poofy.

Phil Jones was going to comment on the nice 'Fro but feared he might receive repercussions from HO. PhilJones did not want such to be his plight!
That boy always gets special attention for his do!
He thinks that by cutting it, he will be trimming his image, and he doesn't want to do that. I told him that 2" is good enough to retain his image. He disagrees.
What's a mom to do?
Well, it's only hair. If it were straight, it might be considered long (still could be, as it's uncut....LOL), but for now, he gets to keep it.
