I'd say that was the biggest revival I was ever part of personally.

And no, conditions weren't perfect as many people think they should be. And no, it wasn't about us. And no, it wasn't because we were praying and fasting around the clock. It was about God's will and timing and the right man in the right place at the right time.

Re: What/Where/When Was the Greatest Revival You H

It started in the Baton Rouge church around 1973 a Br. Love from California preached the revival. A group of young couples prayed through during that time. They caught fire and began spreading the gospel throughout the city. I guess there were probably 150-200 people that prayed through during that year. The evangelist did not stay that long, but the services were electric and people prayed through either in homes or in churches. I can think of 6 ministers that came out of that group.

Re: What/Where/When Was the Greatest Revival You H

I have two...

2. At Apostolic Christian School, Knoxville TN, I attended from age 4 until I graduated. Mondays was devotions and Friday was Chapel/Church. One Monday our school pastor preached and the HG hit that place. We baptized 23 kids that day and nearly 20 received the HGB that same day. Over the week revival we baptized nearly 50 kids from the school ages 8-18.

Drum roll...........

1. 1988, Evangelist Denny Livingston, in Knoxville,Tn. it was his first major revival, he was 19 and recently married. It started as a New Years eve service. I went 4 weeks. My family had moved to that side of town and had been attending several months. Neither of my parents had the HGB at that time. During the revival my mother got laid off and there had been so many baptisims that people were having to be baptized in robes that had not dried properly and they stunk.
My father and mother volunteered to wash them over Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday. They believed that they would be needed still, so they washed. They still had not received the HGB. On the Wednesday night they returned the robes to the baptismal rooms that night they received the HGB at the altar call and were baptized in the very same robes they had just been cleaning. God sure changed my families life that night! In that revival there were over 100 people that received the HGB during that revival. God is soo great.
