I don't believe what I said was harsh at all. They are Ultra Cons and if you LIKE that sort of stuff, that is for you. Yes UCs tend to be controlling. Telling you not to have a TV, not to use the Internet (Yes I met someone from this church who was told she can't use the Internet) etc etc.
Nothing harsh there.

He preached against net but his church has a website. A little odd to me.

I would not say that i know for a fact that he has not ever preached against it but i know for a fact that as of now and the last good few years back that he has not preached against the use of internet. Now he does preach that people need filters on their internet.

I know for fact he did at one time, not that man can not revaluate things and change.

Its not changing a standard that causes the problem but the dogmatic in your face preaching then changing.

This person was not bitter at all. She just relayed why she could not be on the internet anymore. She was a young person and was told that young people can't use the internet.
As I said, that is not a shot at this church or anyone. Just letting this person know what kind of church it is. They are very very conservative.
Do they preach against owning TVs? How did I mess that up?

So then I may just know what Im talking about just a year or so too late now eh?
Ok, Big deal. Let's change it to, he preaches you need to have a filter on their internet. So I wasn't that far off, so it begs the question why you are being so belligerent

Did he used to preach against owning TVs or was I a year or so late there too?
