Re: Abuse of the Delete Option

So, some of you prefer that the delete option should exist so some members can post some crass remark, or nasty slur, or ungodly slam of another user, then wipe it away with the click of a button like it never happened?

Maybe we need to be vetting our members?

I've been around this forum for a number of years and have never seen what you are talking about. Why is that? I don't know the edit option time frame, but I know it is very short.

I am very bad about being in a hurry and having to correct typos or Grammar. Many times I don't catch it until the time frame has expired.

Perhaps you could teach the poster the process:

1. Edit
2. Go Advanced
3. Delete post
4. Insert a period - .
5. Delete this Message
6. Even Admin can't read what was deleted and saves the Admin the trouble of starting a thread about one or two people acting out and thinking twice.
7. Good nights sleep.

Commas are abusive punctuation. I'm triggered. I need a safespace.....Oooh no don't make me whip out an asterisk.

no one can answer this now. The admin have spoken and any talk about what we prefer or don't prefer disrespects their decision
