Stated perfectly....if you are not guilty, why are you still talking about it. Do you see the need to defend yourself for some reason? Once again, I never pointed out any particular post.

How about we do this - - - when I have time.....I'll copy some dresses without models wearing them and we can have a thread critiquing those.

Theresa, you keep saying "the dress", but this is not a one time observation about one dress. I'm just pointing out what seems to be a clear pattern pretty much after every major appearance. After more than one observation about more than one dress, one might begin to wonder whether it is the dress or the person wearing the dress...particularly when such scrutiny is not common with other women.

And yes...I don't think that Republican women are "gone after" like that here...nor would I expect them to be. As a matter of fact, I have seen the opposite to be true and that when others "go after" Republican women about their clothes, most of the posts here are in defense. I'm not sure what is so asinine about that.

I'd much rather condemn the person giving their opinion.

since that's the REAL reason we do anything anyway.

it's all a carefully plotted cover for our bias thinking anyway.

funny, something some libs, cons and mods all got accused of together.

RG, the point is that there are plenty of women who have been in the political spotlight wearing clothes...it just seems that it is MO that brings out most of the Equal Opportunity Fashion Police assigned to this precinct .

you can wonder all you want to - doesnt make it so.

And IMO, whats to comment on the republian womens typical RED, Blue or black SUITS???

they all look like my grandma..whats the observation? Where is the opportunity to disccuss it?

Michelle Obama has give us something to actually COMMENT about - just b/c no one else was worth discussing doesnt mean we are biased toward Michelle.

And if you go back, we have been pretty honest about our opinions all along - during the conventions, I think Michelle Obamas choice of outfits was pretty well received while Cindy McCain wasnt that spectacular.

dont make this into more than it is - we are no more deserving of your negative *perceptino* of our intent than any of these public figures would be of our bias.

I have never even come close to even intimating that anyone was racist for what they were saying. As a matter of fact, when asked directly, I said very clearly that I do not think it was racist...just partisan. I don't know why race has become the issue for you, but you need to work that out for yourself. However, this is exactly the reason that I often don't even get into these kinds of discussions here. I'll just leave this where it is.

b/c someone keeps bringing it up, as long as there is a comment, I'll respond.

again do y'all not see the double standard here??

when you reply, if I have something I'd like to say, I'd say it.

If I was talking to myself that would be different.
