This comment simply isn't true. It is obvious from her post that she believes her uncut hair gives her special favor and/or powers with God. You'd have to be reading with your eyes closed not to see that. Come on. When you close your eyes to the facts, you discredit yourself in any discussion. If you can't have an honest discussion, your opinions just won't really hold water. Being honest means acknowledging when your opponents actually have a point.

The following quote alone shows that she believes her hair is something more than just a sign of her obedience to God:

"My hair is a veil of protection for me and my family. My hair is my glory and power with the angels. "

We've been over and over this already bro. It's the other remarks she makes that are problematic and can't be overlooked and give us the heads up she's been taught improperly.

I haven't read a single post on this thread that discounts the woman's faith, and/or denies that a miraculous healing took place. It is obvious that God honored her faith. Who's arguing with that?

BUT, the flaw appears when she places trust in the wrong direction. It could, at the very least, lead to some great disillusionment later on.

Felicity was on target when she said the woman used her hair as some sort of talisman.

No, it was on another thread where I asked. Guess you skipped some pages there too.

Anyhow, it was delicious. You never forget a kindness, you know?

You've been missing from these forums seems like a long time.

Or, it requires reading between the lines, which is what's been done and has led to the witchcraft comments.

You're right, and I didn't state clearly what I meant. I meant that she never claimed to have a more special covering or protection from God than the next person because of uncut hair. That has also been insinuated at times in this discussion.

Just say you don't agree, then; because there are many who do believe what she does (in regards to the covering and protection) and may be right, as you think you are.

But, quit trying to make this woman a witch, heretic, etc who believes her hair was responsible for the healing.

I don't believe the woman is a witch or a heretic. I do believe she is misguided.
