...we have lost 27 ministers due to the passing of the resolution. In the same period of time, we have licensed 128 new ministers.

I wonder how many left for OTHER reasons, compared to how many were licensed.... Just curious.

The trick being used is that many have/are going to drop their license by not paying their dues, in which case they are listed as non-payment.

If ministers who intend not to renew their licenses, in essence choosing not to remain a member of the UPCI, is that not a hypocrisy in its self? Why not just pony up and turn in your license? Granted I am not up to speed on all the logistics of the non-payment remedies should one chose to pay up later, but it does seem like if someone takes this route, they are saying, "I don't believe enough in this to return my card, but if it works out, I can say that I am no longer affiliated nor do I hold a valid license with the UPCI. However, if it doesn't work out, i can write a check and be reinstated with the UPCI."

Do they have to give up their church if they turn in their license?
In other words- are they forbidden to preach or pastor the saints at that UPCI affiliated church?

I do not know the reasoning. I would suspect it could have something to do with being labeled "under question" if one turned in their license due to joining the Tulsa Group. I think there is also a logistics deal when you resign and turn in your license that some didn't want to go through. The bottom line is that there are many more than 27 that are leaving as a result of Resolution 4 passing. But since they are not being listed that way, KH can say in a legal standpoint that only so many have been listed as turning in their license because of the tv deal.
I am getting word that there are crackdowns in some places toward ministers that are going to the Tulsa Meeting. Threats of revocation of their license if they do. Its all hearsay, but it would be a logical result of this letter since KH stated that they were to be discouraged from going.
I also find it funny that KH is pointing to the Tulsa Group as the bad guys who are causing division. I think there is enough blame to go around on both sides.

Yes to your question.
I have heard that some will be a little while leaving, as they are first disaffiliating their Church.

Now the saints who are non-licensed are not members of the UPCI, correct?
So if they all decided to leave and follow that pastor they could right?

That is correct. Just as a saint could at any time leave any church and go elsewhere if they wished.
Of course there is that little bit in the manual that calls saints of affiliated churches part of the UPCI, but one could still do as they wanted.

There is something in the manuel about saints of affiliated churches being part of the UPCI?
My found out that only licensed ministers were because it's a fellowship for ministers. And I started talking around and they all confirmed what I found out. Maybe they changed this? This was back a few years early 2000's.
Thanks.

I have posted it somewhere here in the past. My manual is from 94. I do not think it really means what it really says, but the manual specifically addresses those of affiliated churches as THEIR MEMBERS.
