Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
Out of Zion and into the World by Gordon Gardiner. Willam Manley was there pastoring a Pentecostal church. Manley is a person of interest in the Harry Morse biography.
The Assemblies of God by Blumhofer. Still filling in some holes in the Harry Morse biography. Looks like Harry Van Loon and his relationship with Ewart and the AOG is discussed.

James Herriott's books make for some good laughs, even when reading for the 4th or 5th time.

Just finished reading Caesar and Christ.
Will Durant presents eschatology from the preterist point of view.

That usually happens when people just read what is being said. Durant looks at Jesus speaking to His audience, about events in their soon future. That is how you read it, correct?

yes, he presented it from an historical perspective with I'm assuming no preconceptions.

Exactly, and therefore can only come to one conclusion.

Is this part of a multi-volume series? The title "The Story of Civilization" seems to suggest this.
