Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
Okay peeps (Yes, I do Stew), if Ron Paul wins the delegates at Nebraska's State Convention next week - that is five states and he will be on the ballot in Tampa. LOL!
RNC is bringing in added security - be afraid, be very afraid.

Never thought I would thank Rachel Maddow for a news story. But, since Faux News won't cover it.....

Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
PO, rachel had 2 more pieces about ron paul tonight. she covered the nebraska convention this saturday and the second story was about republican delegates in mass. that were removed as delegates because they wouldn't sign an affidavit pledging to vote for mitt romney under threat of perjury on the first ballot. They were removed even though they were elected and replaced with big name republicans. mitt is nervous.

There are a lot more shenanigans going on with the GOP this election cycle.
The "legal council" for the Massachusetts GOP, Vincent Devito, said that Provisional Ballots would not be counted without giving any reason in writing. That's against the party rules. Each of the nine district caucus chairpersons followed procedures.
Hence another reason for the lawsuit. And it is really for EVERY delegate, not just the Paul supporters. Among other things addressed, they want the court to officially rule that their votes are not bound, according to Federal law, at Convention. I understand the judge presiding is a very fair man.
And in Florida the RNC broke a second rule without any penalty in the least. They directly violated one of their mandates of proportional representation for early contests. Florida awarded all of its delegates to the statewide winner, no matter how low the percentage of the vote.
Rule 15 (b) (2) prohibits in no uncertain terms early winner-take-all contests: “Any presidential primary, caucus, convention, or other meeting held for the purpose of selecting delegates to the national convention which occurs prior to the first day of April in the year in which the national convention is held shall provide for the allocation of delegates on a proportional basis.”
You can go here ( http://www.malibertycaucus.com/) to find out any updates on the situation. It does include the Rachel clip. I'm tired of posting this stuff here because, no one seems to care that the GOP is going totally rogue and dishonest this election cycle.
I'll add the additional video that interviews the young boy who had the rude awakening to the dishonesty of the RNC.

Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
DM, More to the point in Massachusetts, this is what is happening.
There are two lawsuits now. There is one in MA on the illegal ousting of delegates and a federal case representing multiple delegates across the country. Once this is done there are about 200 cases of fraud that are being amassed to bring more lawsuits against the RNC and Romney.
Obama got away with this because they weren't ready for it, Romney will not get away with it because they are willing to do something about it.
Why is it that that republican continue to ignore all this evidence and information?

Who has oversight on this?
Also, I still say the only fair way to do this is have every state vote the same day. Then you know who is most favored by everyone not just the early voting states.

Well, you know it's not the RNC with the oversight! They are the ones committing the fraud. I refuse to support the party over this. And the issue for me is not about Ron Paul, per se. It is about our election cycle which should be without fraud.
Richard Gilbert has the oversight, as the attorney for the Delegates. And please note that Gilbert includes ALL delegates who have found fraud in the process. It's not just for the Paul delegates, although it includes quite a few of them.

I'll let you know if there is a designated site like the Massachusetts site. If not, I'll pass along the information when I get it. And if I don't make it before you do, I hope you keep us updated. I don't know what my plans are for Saturday. I may not be able to give a play by play.
I found out that the RNC is sending voting machines to Nebraska. You can already guess the outcome on that one. LOL! Jerks.
I have someone in touch with Richard Gilbert. The update today from him is - "The more noise critics make the more Plaintiffs come forward wanting to join the suit. More than 100 new Delegates requesting permission to join in the last 72 hours."
I'm hearing this lawsuit probably won't make it to court before Convention, but we knew that already. There were 300 delegates that came to Gilbert in the first run, but he decided to just deal with national delegates and the federal lawsuit. The more the RNC breaks it's own rules and the more the delegates and the process is abused, the bigger this is going to get. The harder the corrupt people clamp down on this the bigger it is going to get.
I hope they nail Romney to the wall.
TTYL!

Of course you do. You don't care how much damage 4 more years of the muslim in office would do. All you care about is your hurt little feelings that Newt failed. So you are content to try to help destroy the Romney campaign while supporting the insane gynecologist Paul or the hopless, unheard-of, nobody Gary whatever-his-name-is.
The rest of us understand that defeating Obama is the MOST important thing right now.
