Which would be true for a believer, but ostensibly not for the rich man-it would seem that Ecclesiasticus might say "the day of a believers death..." but I hijack lol~ah, and that might be...Ecclesiastes? to the tragically over-interpreted...

Right. Joseph of Arimathaea was a rich man.

What do you mean when you say that you interrogate spirits?

How does this help you to discern if that still small voice is God or something else? Do other things speak to you frequently?
Um, rocks, no; but an undertaking, say removing some rocks, would. That trees contain spirit as distinct from rocks, being living, or not, both being all, is true but irrelevant in the sense of spirit I mean, that of an undertaking or...ideology? which is, has a "spirit" (that you may have created), that you can also interrogate, or "test."
This spirit cannot withstand Christ, admitting that Christ has come in the flesh, your stick will not be able to lie about whether it can abide in the vine or not, however you may put it, and you can test everyone else's sticks the same way, which are different from "tree" in your model only not at all, really, except we know the Spirit of this tree, and trees in general, actually, so that you would naturally get agreement from a physical, earthly tree's spirit upon..."testing" it in this way; in fact, I found a tree's answer to be quite illuminating but that's not the point.
Ha, I'm doing it again ok, you can also roll dice? You know this is a perfectly acceptable way to know the will of God in a matter? Ah, "in a matter" is what can have the type of spirit, as distinct from an entity's "spirit," that we are getting at.

Yo Matt! There is a search option to find those threads, or you can just go through a few pages of thread titles to see if you can find something... OR you are welcome to start a new thread.

Just know that there are many different veiws here and they are very diverse... That may be a good thing if you use personal discernment and prayer to guide you. It is always best to get council from people you know and trust in your life, but as long as it's kept in proper perspective this forum can be a wonderful asset as well!

Go for it!

Actually there is no distinction. There are spirits that are yet to exist, entities, that you may create, and will converse with, there as you lay in your bed at night birthing them, with consideration for God or not, hopefully the former, as this is where the Kingdom is.
