I'm not for women pastors, but if someone gets an experience while under a woman God won't revoke their experience.
I can accept women preaching and such ,but I don't see women pastors, but I'm not trying to be argumentaive though.

You and Elder Epley have the right spirit, Scott. You believe what you believe, yet you don't make ridiculous comments like "their works will burn".
Forgive me for harping on this, I usually don't push the issue so much, but after our dear Sister Alvear has shared with us on this forum, and the many souls she's won to God with her "preaching", and then to have someone say that she MIGHT make it to heaven, but her works will burn?????????? I am insulted for her sake.

Time to step up to the plate. Do the Boogey Down proud.
IF he answers, please PM me with the post, I am getting ready to take off.
I'll check back in later!

I Corinthians 3:14-15 says in the NKJV "If anyones work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyones work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
This scripture teaches us that the reward is not SALVATION, which scripture teaches is a free gift, but a reward for faithful service. (So if one has received salvation for example through a women preacher, no they will not be lost. We know that salvation is the water way which is being born of the water (water baptism in Jesus Name) and of the Spirit (being born of the Holy Ghost wich initially is eveident by speaking in other tongues).
Moving on, verse 15 talks about a loss! The loss is the reward the builder (i.e. women preacher for example) might have received, not his salvation. This person will have a narrow escape, like someone fleeing froma burning building, who looses all of his possessions and saves only his life.
When I say a woman preachers works will be burned, it means although she might have salvation (FREE GIFT) she is not going to get a reward for the works she did on earth because she was never called to preach (in essence, she does not get to have the rewards male pastors will get who were pastors) yet she still will be saved. Mind you, she might get rewards for other services she might have done on earth but NOT for being a women preacher. That is reserved for male clergy.
Matthew 28:20 does not commission one to PREACH! It is a comission to make disciples which all are able to do both male and female.
Ephesians 4:11 NKJV says "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelist andsome pastors and teachers" Key word is SOME which means everyone will not have these callings.
We find in in Titus 1:5-6 who those some are. An Elder / Bishop is the husband of one wife. (MALES) See also 1 Timothy 3
We find in Titus 2:3-4 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children. (WOMAN CAN DO THIS)
I will not be answering any more questions in regards to this matter because I have explained my belief according to the Word. Understanding, you are going to believe what you want to believe regardless of what I say or do. I've given you what you want which is an explanation of my belief and I would like to move on. No reason to taunt, as I can tell thats what your doing. You keep pressing the issue wanting to know why I said what I said, now you have it. For what its worth, I like this board, and it looks like I might even gain a few friendships. Lets move on to perfecting holiness (yea God!!!!)

I don't know about the rewards program heaven is offering ... I'll be happy if don't get the platinum, gold, silver or bronze tiered package ....
I'll settle for the no-frills aluminum package and a corner in heaven. Still want the mansion. Corner is fine ... unless there is a remaining cul de sac.

Wrong on so many levels!
