first, I would blame my inability to post clearly enough instead of blaming you for not comprehending what i am trying to say.
IF forgiveness is available..................this alone states that God has already "in his heart" put the deed aside, so as to offer reconciliation. I personaly do not believe one can even offer forgiveness unless it is already accomplished within their heart.
I have never said that forgiveness is completed prior to our repentance. It is an exchange, but Gods part happened on Calvary. God basically says, "Here is my forgiveness. Now who wants it!"
I don't agree with you. It only means that God is willing to forgive, based upon one's repentance and baptism in His name. Being willing to forgive and already having forgave are two different things. The way you are explaining it puts forgiveness in past tense and I do not believe we are pre-forgiven. I don't find scripture to back that notion. Can you provide any that says such?
Since, you posted this thread you have been on my mind and in my prayers and I truly hope that you and your children would soon realize the gift of forgiveness.
I have spent the last hour reading though the thread that I posted back in March regarding the disease that I have...AIDS. It was painful at times as I read post after post by many that I have grown to respect and admire; however, I was reminded as the tears streamed down my face of the gift of forgiveness that has continued to be manifested in my life.
I wanted you to know that I would continue to pray for you and your family. I felt the pain that you and your children have endured though the circumstances of your husband's actions and I wanted you to know that you were not alone on this journey of forgiveness that you have traveled.
May God truly bring joy overflowing to you and complete healing to this siituation in your life.
With much love and blessings...
