When I was home I was talking with friends one evening and "the book" and the author came up. There was a distinct chill in the air.
Even so, I carefully and kindly took the opportunity to encourage them to read the book.

This is not the case with those like Felicity who were always taught the "PCI" view.
Your doctrine is right or not right according to the Scriptures, not because Howard Goss agreed with you.

Brother Daniel, you would have us accept the Fudge book without any further scrutiny. That's a scary thought. All I'm saying is that no one should be foolish enough to accept the Fudge book without further study into the whole matter. Why are you having such a problem with this? High School textbooks are full of falsehoods concerning creation of the earth, shouldn't people be shown that they need to search out for further evidence. The same goes for your beloved Fudge Book.

No other book has done that ... yet you want us to rely on 3 blurbs written 30 years ago to be authoritative truth and final word on the matter ?
|
So now Thomas Fudge is your one source? That is plain silly, and it makes you look like you have something to hide.

There are those who don't even believe that we went to the moon. Everything is to be questioned and therefore if it is truth there should be no problem in strict examination of any material.

Yet even that research needed still more research. We must always do further research. It was thought that Christopher Columbus sailed to the New World with just monies raised by Queen Isabelle, but in 1492 the Jews were also expelled from Spain giving Christopher Columbus much needed funds for his voyage. Even that story and ones like it still need to be closely looked at.

Sorry Brother Daniel but it looks as if you are making a plea that we should all embrace the Fudge book as it was the writings of the Prophets. To do that would be childish.

Once again EB misses it ... who said he is the one infallible source? You're smarter than that... and so am I.
I love history ... so much I majored in it ... please don't insult me.
Continue to scrutinize ... but its seems your agenda is to discount

No claws there, Brother.
You're the one attacking here.
Carry on, I'll leave you be.
I've had my last fuss with you, as far as I am concerned.

Sounds wonderful, did you add that they should take everything with a grain of salt?

We were sitting on the deck with the moon smiling down on us eating steak and salad by candlelight (and moonlight of course). It did get a little chilly and I had to grab a sweater. Hehe.

Tom Fudge is a "man". Prone to fault and failure (with his share of both I'm sure) and a modicum of success --- like most men of any calibre at all.

Excuse me but I'm not trying to insult you Brother. I am trying to explain that no one should take Fudge's book to be the total of truth. It sounds so silly that you say that my agenda is to discount when I keep compelling the people to seek out the truth through study. Or are you just answering my posts by just skimming them?
