OK
I have the Bible in front of me, just exactly where does it say that Jewelry is a sin?
Genesis 24:47 "and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands." Rebekah a woman that God spoke directly to wore jewelry.
Genesis 41:42
"And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck"
Joseph the man of God wore Jewelry
Exodus 3:22
"But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians."
God commanded the Israelites to put Jewelry upon their sons and Daughters, would God ask them to do something that was sin?
Psalm 25:12
“As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.” this would be wrong advice if Jewelry was wrong.
Isaiah 61:10
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; ...as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels"
This comparison by the prophet would be sinful.
Luke 15:22
“But the father said to his servants, bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand"
This would be a sinful thing to do for the father.
