I simply accept that Jesus meant what He said when He said that He was the only way.

How does one overlook the denial of God?

that is a beautiful creedo to follow, and i can find no fault in that. Please accept the God in Christ, and that His Words have spiritual meanings that your teachers were duty-bound to misrepresent to you. Verbally correct, with a distorted spiritual meaning. Read some Matthew Fox--you don't have to agree with every word. Don't even like read the words, so much as get the feel of it. God won't let you go astray if you are seeking Him.
