I'm probably the only one on AFF who has a friend who once tried to vacuum the leaves from the bottom of his above ground pool with a wet/dry vac.  Or lets hope so...

I was an eyewitness to both a murder and a suicide in a neighboring city. [Two separate incidents both years ago]

One of America's top ten most wanted in my city, about 2 miles from me. But he wasn't an ax murderer, thankfully.

We had a woman killed with a hammer. Her husband was an Assembly of God deacon, I believe. He just went nuts and killed her with a hammer. Of course, at the time, I figured that's how those liberal Pentecostals were!! LOL!

The first funeral my husband preached was the wife of a guy he worked with. They had also rented a house from us. They went out to celebrate her 21st birthday and a guy in the bar started shooting and he missed his target and hit this girl in the neck. The husband walked into our church while I was teaching Sunday school and he looked terrible. I walked up to him and said "hi" and he said "my wife was murdered last night". Yikes. I went and got my husband who was not preaching (we were assisting at the time). This girl had worked for a flower shop and she had so many flowers for her funeral it was unbelievable. When my husband preached there were camera crews everywhere and I remember wondering if he could get in trouble for being on TV. LOL!
Okay, gotta get to the microbiology.

I'm finding out from this thread, I just haven't "lived". Seems like it can be a good thing, tho- LOL
I bet I'm the only one that has assisted in a water birth. My wife birthed one of our children in large jetted tub.
I guess I could also say I'm one of few that have raised the dead many times.
however ....
(I guess dramas don't count )

I woke up one time with a loaded double barrel shot gun placed across the bridge of my nose. Both hammers were pulled back and the assailant threatened to blow my head off. I was 14 and, sad to say, it was my own father at the other end of the gun. Drunk, as always. He shot at my oldest brother one time. The guy had serious problems.
