I don't know how anyone can be a front runner as DS of an unorganized/newly formed district .... if I'm reading this clause from the UPCI constitution correctly.....

it would be the General Board of Presbyters who would have the power to appoint anyone they so choose ... even someone outside of the WD area as the DS at least for the interim:

From the UPCI constitution

5. The Board of General Presbyters shall be authorized to appoint a District Superintendent in unorganized sections or districts that are to be formed.

District Superintendents appointed by the Board of General Presbyters shall be ex officio members of the General Board and shall be appointed for a term of one (1) year. In the event said district is organized before the year is expired, the term of office shall cease as of such district organization.

It's not like they are voting anything important like television. I'm glad everything seemed to be work out.

well I hear the other camp in Ventura is coming up next month in June.
