On captives of war:

"When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her

"But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself"

Here is a great story:

God ordered Moses to wage war against the Midianites, because the latter had attempted to convert the Israelites to their religion. They Israelite soldiers killed every male Midianite, but initially spared the lives of the women and children. Moses was angry at this act of mercy, and in an act of near genocide, ordered that all of the women and children be murdered in cold blood, allowing only 32,000 female virgins to live. All of the booty, including the surviving girls and virgin women, was then divided into two equal portions: one for the soldiers and the rest for the people of Israel. 0.1% of the slaves from the first half and 2% of the slaves from the second half were considered the Lord's share. i.e. they were to be given to the priests. The priests ended up with 365 female virgins; one for each day of the year.

"And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD."

To begin with, the Quran justifies slavery, and often mentions slaves. Here are some relevant verses:



33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."





This verse clearly shows that Muslims believe that taking slaves in war was a God-given right. These slaves were considered 'booty' or the spoils of war. As the saying goes: to the victors go the spoils.





23:5 - "... except with their wives and slave girls, for these are lawful to them:..."

Glad you brought it up buddy. Since Jesus our savior, women can now make decisions regarding marriage and live in safety in their own home. Christianity was the beginning of love by men toward women. We even reject the Muslim commands of multiple wives. Abraham's grandson Jacob created a dysfunctional home with 4 mothers and 12 sons.
In Israel, women can vote and attend school. Not very common with the arab neighbors. Do you know why?

Neighbors? Isreal has (3). Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria. Women vote in all 3. I guess you missed that fact too......So no I cant figure out why you are assuming or posting false information for which the truth is readily available for research

Commands? The Quran is the only religious book that states "be content with only one" (wife). Sadly, those words are never, ever stated or mentioned in the bible. But I guess with your rapier command of the bible you already knew that.

Apparently Walks in Islam is unaware of the New Testament and it's relationship to the Old Testament.

To be such a smart guy he is kind of missing the whole point of Christianity. He tries to act like Christians are living the Old Testament today which would be more like his "eye for an eye" religion.

Also love the way he totally ignores the barbarian ways of Islam. Hey walking man, how about explaining how Sharia law allows for a man to beat his wife for insubordination?

God is Most Merciful. However, what if they fail to "repent" to the satisfaction of the local judges?
