I am just making it a point that mabey people don't have it figured out like they think they do and this is a curve ball to make them think.. How can you be a Non-christian and speak in tongues why would God give this to you if you are not a Christian..

I would believe that tongues are not the only evidence of a Spirit filled life. John the Baptist said to "bring forth works meet for repentance". In the Weaver Paraphrase "Your actions, attitudes, and affections should match up to your repentance" or "Show me you are repentant by living a sin overcoming life"

Thats my point exactlly I was pointing to the holyghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues...I believe also that you can have the holyghost and not speak in tongues.. The evidence theroy just does not fly with me because of this very reason that we are discussing.
