None of this fixes McCain's appalling stance on illegal immigration.
He's just hoping we all swoon long enough to vote for him. Once he's in, he'll stuff her in a closet. He'll don his imperial cape and riding boots, and start his landmark roughshod ride over the constitution, and never even glance back over his shoulder at her, or the electorate.
And I'm an OPTIMIST!

Are you talking about amnesty? I believe, as others have done and changed their stance after more study, he now stands with moving from legalization to securing the borders.
I don't find that particularly troubling as most of our lawmakers, except for Gingrich, have not stood out as having a workable plan because the issue is complex.
I'll perhaps get into this in more detail later. I don't have time tonight.

If you personally insult me again, I'll report you. Don't go personal. I'm just voicing my thoughts and concerns about McCain's VP pick. She's a great woman. I'm sure she's a decent governor. But she's not VP material. She doesn't have the goods. Sure, she's a woman....and McCain hopes that women are so stupid they vote for her because she doesn't have male parts. She's also an AoG Christian....McCain hopes we're so blind we'll vote for her because she's believes the Bible. But truth is...she doesn't have what it will take to be President.
He's not given skill and true ability. He's giving us "token" representation.

Re: Sarah Palin for GOP Vice President
It's obvious from the past few administrations (and their campaigning opponents) that "skill" and "true ability" are relative and overestimated. Personally, I'm glad to see a fresh face in the forefront, and not just because she's female. Hillary is female (I think), and I wouldn't vote for her simply because of that.
I'm so sick of the same old, same old politics, from the GOP AND the Democrats. We'll see if this race goes in any new directions.
As for abortion...this woman has obviously put her money where her mouth is, and I give her big props for that. So will a number of other intelligent, conservative female voters.

Absolutely outlandish. Obama and Biden would respond decisively. Frankly, so would McCain. However, Palin....she should be baking cookies. Too bad Condi wasn't interested. She's got the goods.

McCain has one foot in the grave. Palin's even younger than Obama. I don't think she has what it takes to be President.

Ferd I ask this because she has less experience than Obama yet you say he doesn't have enough experience. How qualified his she if Mc can't recall dies on his first day in office?

Light, these guys are coolaid drinkers. McCain could pick Kermit the Frog and they'd drool over it.
McCain is putting you, your family, and me, and my family in grave danger. If something were to happen to him the most unqualified candidate in the race would become President. She'd be a pawn of the unelected "advisors". I'm as serious as a heart attack.

You're assuming a lot, and coming off like a male chauvinist in the process. Plus, you're agreeing with Michael Savage. LOL!!! That alone should make you flip-flop...I wouldn't think you'd want to agree with a true conservative.

Some of our best presidents have been the "least qualified." Usually "qualified" just means they know how to work the system in their favor and tickle people's ears. Kind of like Obama.
