Man, I am becoming acutely aware of how small this AFF world is. Everybody knows everybody. And I know hardly anybody.
Yeah, TG and I used to go to Costco and get the $1.50 foot longs w/a soda for lunch when I worked at the church. He wanted me to work for him at the school but I wasn't interested in working w/kids. I'll bet he doesn't get the hot dogs anymore after losing all that weight. I was proud of him for that. BTW: He's still my friend even tho I walked out.
I always liked it when he preached on Wed nights. He'd go for about 10 minutes and call it a night. Amen!

White River, Doc & Rosy...good times. Gary lives there now w/his family. You prob know that.

Yes,we do share the same first name. I married Denise R,I know she's always thought very highly of you and your family. You and your wife and Denise and myself went out to eat shortly after we were married.
I don't see Gary very much when were in Indy,I do miss those days of sitting on the dock eating ice cream and being really lazy.

That mad me so mad because, unlike him, I've actually worked a regular job in the "world" and know how hard it can be to make a buck. If I'm show up and I walk down there to give my money earned through the sweat of my brow then I'm being plenty "worshippy enough" and don't need to do a jig for the dude in a suit on the platform who lives off my offering. I turned to TG and said, "Dude, I hope you'll still be my friend but I'm leaving and I'm never coming back." His jaw hit the floor and my wife and I got up and walked out and we've never been back in ten years. I'm sorry to hear that sort of stuff still goes on. It's shameful. Thankfully the Lord has led me to more appreciative churches since then.
Sorry Sweet Pea. I hope you still love me.

I agree with you I don't agree with pastors or evangelists that blame the congregation for not worshipping enough. The other thing that bothers me is when a evangelist blames the congregation when one of musicians misses a note and tells the congregation that they are praying against the revival.

Glad to hear you are still friends.
I don't know TG well, just his new son-in-law and daughter-in-law.

Re: No Limits Conference Speakers?
The silver lining to the 3 UPC speakers cancelling their No Limits gig is that Rock and Roll Church is going to save a boat load of money in hororariums and hotel / restaurant costs!
Of course I am sure the guys that cancelled are having grief at home as their wives missed a few days in beautiful Sacramento and that shopping trip that I am sure accompanies preaching a big conference. LOL!!

Both messages this morning were power packed, and what a move of God afterwards. God is definitely doing some good things.

Robbie Mitchell and Brad Smith. I forgot to watch 'em. I just remember the announcement last night.
