You said that the diversity of the NYMD board is a reflection of the population ... however can't the same be said about South Texas or even Louisiana. What I mean is ... why don't the boards in these multi-cultural districts reflect the diversity found in these states/regions?
Because it's still a good ol'e boys club. I can't recall of a black serving in the Mississippi District Position, I know certainly there never has been one on the board. I don't see them on the platform.
I just started reading this thread, I can't BELIEVE that anyone would take what TS said seriously, anyone knowing TS should know this, and not think for a sec that he might be racist.
Gee, as silly as this forum is, half the time (not serious) you'd think everyone would know this by now.
People sure like to make a fuss over nothing.
Sir have you looked on the bottom right hand corner of the first screen that comes up to know how many new people are on here on a daily basis? I have been on here a month or so and others longer who do not know him... We are glad to know him now, but the fuss was over something at that point...

DA... There are several people in leadership positions and at least one board member that is spanish in the South Texas District... There was a black spanish man on the original board when the district was formed a few years ago...

Elder Ybarra and Elder Gordon, I presume?
Elder Gordon is from the Caribbean Island of San Andres ... The island once was under English control then turned over to Colombia ... His first language is English.

I could post scores but will stop with this one...the pastor of this church was a circus clown he sure is thankful that a woman took him the life changing message...
So my friend woman can be and are used or God...Wise women know how to win pagan men and women ...
God bless you Sister Alvear for bringing the message of salvation to a circus clown.
If only there was someone with your boldness to preach to the circus clowns in the Apostolic movement in North America today.
While I understand that the matter has been cleared up, I think you all read too much into TS's post.
He said we should keep to our own kind. I completely agree with that statement.
So what is YOUR definition of "keep to your own kind" because I am sure we all would like to know. You said you agree, so tell us WHAT exactly are you agreeing with?
