Actually, I am an easy going guy that has shunned all visibility from the up front ministry.
I always did my own stuff, not seeking recognition.
I think seeking recognition is a sin.

One man likes being recognized for driving an older Chevrolet instead of newer Chevrolet. He tells people that no one can drive a new Chevy and be humble. Thus, his spoken statement against the newer car driver also contains an unspoken message that his older car means he is humble. In reality, the man driving the older car is nowhere near humble since his older Chevy is actually a point of pride for him.
Sean, your above post is full of older Chevy pride.
You claim you don't seek "recognition" because "seeking recognition is a sin." Then you word your post in such a way that it draws recognition to yourself by claiming you're better than those who seek recognition.
Sean, the reason why you're not part of the "up front ministry" is because whatever church you attend sees you and your old Chevy real well.
