Girl, I can shave my legs with my eyes closed! LOL!!!! I understand, though...the flamingo stance is difficult to accomplish when you're big and pregnant!
Nevertheless, I never missed shaving. Especially the last month...I was afraid I would go into labor and not have time to shave before getting to the hospital... (food for thought)
By that time, I seriously couldn't have cared less. The doctors and nurses have seen a lot worse than unshaved legs.
Can we take a quick look at Deut. 22:5 again? As I read thru it, I see that it says that women are not to wear that which pertains to a man. It also says that NEITHER is a man to put on a women's garment. If I'm not mistaken, it's comparing: a woman wearing that which pertains to the man TO a man putting on a woman's garment. I think it's safe to say that it's a true comparison. (2:4=4:8) In the latter part of the verse, it reads: "for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."
In Revelation 22:27 It reads, "And there shall in no wise enter into it (that great city - v.10) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

There isn't a person here who disagrees with your post. We all believe the Bible here.

lovemyjesus, Thank you for the scriptural dissertation. Can you please provide us with a current list, then, of what comprises "that which pertains to a woman", "that which pertains to a man", "men's garments", "women's garments", and the reasons why you would classify each item as such?
Thank you.
P.S. Just for the sake of general interest, you could throw in a few paragraphs about what would have been male vs. female garments "back then"....(when Deuteronomy was written/spoken)

If a man puts on a women's garment (cross dressing) to come across as a woman, or vice versa then abomination has taken place. There isn't a single list of gender specific garments. That is cultural. Otherwise missionaries would have to westernize all their converts.

I'm afraid my question would only cloud the very fine discussion that is already going on- but on the subject of Revelation 22:27 and "abominations," aren't those who eat shellfish also kept out of the city? Or does the following simply mean that shellfish won't be served in the city?
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: 11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. 12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Or we'd have to 'easternize'!
I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it gave men permission to stop wearing robes and wear bifurcated garments, do you?

What was the difference between the skins that God made for Adam and Eve were they sewed up slightly different ?
