If this is an example of how you treat others within the body of Christ, let me warn you. Leave off from the ministry that you profess to be following. You are causing a great deal of harm to those who are very precious in the sight of the Lord. He will not be pleased by your conduct.

Please, repent of your sins and with humbleness of heart seek Jesus Christ. He is merciful and forgiving.

Sadly, I've not been within 1500 miles of Oregon. But I'll remember your invitation if opportunity arises!

One thing is certain....

Webby isn't going to be doing any 'stepping" any time soon. At least, not of the kind viewed in some of the posts here.

Of course, lack of athletic ability at my weight and size has a lot to do with that!

I don't know folks. I am all for worship, but this seems a little different, even to me.

I have had similar experiences. Once in our church plant in San Jose, Costa Rica and another time in a church in Hong Kong. We can't isolate the presence of God. He is omnipresent and in particular, inhabits the praises of His people, whether it is a song sung unto Him or an interpretive dance offered up unto Him.

I think its very obvious who needs to "get over" themselves.

Btw, we had 3 brand new young people to receive the Holy Ghost and get baptized last night. Two of them had never been in a Pentecostal church before. Next thing on the agenda is a bible study with them. Or maybe I should sign them up for the stick drama team first...whatcha think?

I am utterly and thoroughly appalled. Is this really what our movement (no pun intended) has come to?? I would have left...as would my mother, grandmother, and the at least 5 generations of apostolics before her.

Dancing in the Spirit does not require prior rehearsal.

But maybe that's just me...

Seems like it's becoming the "new thing". I don't know where on earth some of this is going but I'm not going. No way!

Who said it was 'dancing in the Spirit' anyway?

Choirs rehearse, so what? Even orchestras have rehearsals for the songs they will sing on Sunday, so what?

There is no commandment that says practicing movements to songs is wrong, nor is there any such implication in scripture.

We can clap and we can dance. So what if it's rehearsed? The Bible says to praise Him in the dance. It doesn't say that only if it's 'in the Spirit'.

Read Psalms 150 and let me know if those things should be done at random and without regard to time, rhythm, and tune, or if there should be order in that kind of praise.
