Prophesying accurately and calling people out, even calling their names and telling them things that NO ONE knows anything about except them is NOTHING uncommon among folks like Leroy Jenkins, Alton Hayes, and many prophets that I've known over the years. I know their spirits VERY well. I am not a Johnny come lately in all of this. I was once very tempted to move in that realm with the same spirit. I am so glad that I refused it. It would not take me but a few minutes to take on that spirit and walk the aisles calling out people for hours in a packed auditorium as I have done many times, but I refuse to do it with the kind of spirit that some of these guys have. I know all about it. However, it is a spirit of error and it becomes a Jeanie Dixon hit and miss situation...often far more hits than misses.

Sometimes, I forget that I am in discussion with some who have never moved in these circles and have experienced enough of what I am talking about to really understand it.
I knew William Branham when he was a true prophet. He gave into a spirit of error. His prophesies became hit and miss.
I worked for a world reknown true prophet for over a year, traveling with him to many parts under some of the largest tents and auditoriums. He subcumed to the temptation of falling into a spirit of error which also led him and by which he prophesied. I saw it firsthand, up close and personal. Sadly, I had to leave. However, in the last couple of years, I have seen that he has rejected that spirit and today, I believe he is operating under the spirit of truth. God had mercy on him and has granted him true repentance. This seldom happens. There is no hit and miss in a mature prophet that is operating in the spirit of truth.
But, to explain what I am talking about here for a novice to fully grasp it, would be an impossible task on a forum.

Joseph's route to prosperity and influence included trials and tribulations while Solomon was handed the kingdom on a silver platter.
I agree with you there destination isn't always a straight line (no pun indtended). Part of the appreciation of wealth is the journey. Joseph appreciated the wealth much more than Solomon.

With the prosperity gospel the "expectation of receiving" becomes the motivation for the giving and that is what is wrong. While there is a general law of sowing and reaping and of God's blessing there are many detours, interupptions, etc in those blessings many times. So there is not always a linear path between sowing good things and reaping good things. For some folks the reaping may not be material things at all.

You didn't mentio anything about hit and misses. You quoted one small snippet. Said he then prophesied to someone in the audience and then declared he was doing this by some other spirit, obviously not of God so it must be a demonic one. Based on just your word, I simply can not accept such a severe accusation. Sorry

No need to be sorry.
I did not ask anyone to accept anything.
But don't draw conclusion by what was NOT said. You can miss it there too. If you want to draw conclusions draw them from what WAS said.

I never said I am right and everyone, let along anyone else is wrong. Good grief!
What kind of an rediculous statement is that?
I don't even care about who is right or wrong. I am expressing my opinion just as you have defended BSs right to do so. My opinion is that just as that friend of MB could be skewed by HIS feelings so could anyone else including BS, and be led to believe it was really the Spirit of God and just their own feelings

What conclusion did I draw that I was incorrect in?

The biblical standard though is out of the mouth of two or three witnesses. If what they said did not come to pass etc etc...
But we can still think something is God when it is really infact our feelings.

I did not say that he was doing anything by a demonic spirit. You drew that conclusion from what I did NOT say.
