Sis. Falla,
I totally agree with you! I made a conscious choice not to affiliate myself with a church or practice in a church so as not to be put in the position of answering to unsupportive leadership or those ignorant to the boundaries, ethical considerations regarding confidentiality, ect.

I have my own office, malpractice insurance, and will take referrals from area Pastors but will not be under their influence or control. My business is separate from my church membership and then there will be no conflict of interest on either side.

Blessings, Rhoni

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Just want to share how the Lord is blessing me: I found a Dr. who wanted to sub-lease his office and a co-worker and I are sharing the cost to have part time hours. I am officially the sole owner of my own counseling business and have my first couple of clients. The future is in the present now...

Thank you Jesus for all you have done

In Jesus Name, Rhoni

Sis. Falla,

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. I am doing so much better now and God is working in miraculous ways. I thought I was so tired [in spirit] that I couldn't go on, but Jesus gave me a shot in the arm and I am back up tp PAR again.

I am so excited about getting the keys to my office on Monday.

Love you too
Rhonda

Re: Sleepless in Texas

When God opens a door - HE opens a door. Today I received my keys to the office and filled my schedule up full for the week. I feel like dancing the shock-a-moo and just might this weekend in church

Thank you Jesus, Rhoni

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Last night I got very little sleep. I was thinking about an e-mail I received from a long time friend. The title was "Free at LAST" and how she was embracing the homosexual lifestyle after trying to deny it for years and how God had released her from feeling guilty or bound. She had found a church that would accept her as she is.

My concerns were:
1. God can not lie and his word speaks clearly about sexual sins, homosexuality being one of them,
2. That she used God gave me authorization to justify my sinful behavior, which again God cannot do because He and His word are one and the same.
3. I thought of the craftiness of satan in allowing her to feel most free when she is indeed most bound by a sin that will destroy her now and for eternity.

My answer to her was that I still love her and will continue to pray for her. She has struggled with this sin for years as we all have things we struggle with.

My prayer is that she not become so callous to the true voice of God that she can't find her way back to repentance and right thinking.

Join with me in prayer for her.

Blessings, Rhoni

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Trying to come off the sleep meds and only use natural hormone and vitamins substitutes. It worked one night but not last night...please pray for me.

The Lord is blessing me and I feel His hand and anointing in what I am doing. He is opening doors and I am walking through them.

Thank you Jesus for all you do.

Love you much, Rhonda
