Bro...I work for the government and make sure that companies contracted due work according to specification. I deal with corporate rip off artists every day.

Actually I pay the HSA premiums and it's through a private insurance company. My HSA is only front loaded by $3,000.00. It's far less than the tax payers paid in the conventional insurance plan through United Health Care. Also a large amount of this money comes from the savings in the new program. Under the old plan, if I opted out of health insurance I'd be given about $3,000.00 a year anyway. This program saves the tax payer money.

Now as for the health care policy I described...it's very similar to the philosophy behind McCain's plan.

You need your own thread. I think that can be arranged.

Um, you aren't paying the entire premium. In order for it to be group coverage, your employer has to pay the lions share of the premium, which means the taxpayers are paying for your insurance, along with 75% of your HSA. Also, the taxpayers are paying your salary, so, in effect, they are footing the whole bill. Like I said, no wonder you are in favor of socialism. LOL!

Hey, I enjoy fishing and birdwatching. I'm for common sense environmental policies.

Hey...sometimes I think government is the new perjoritive. I'd like to see the government just not show up for work for two days. No police, fire, water, wastewater treatment, financing, military, traffic lights,...nothing. Maybe we'd get a little appreciation around here. Bro...many Christians work in my office. We read our Bibles and have even had Bible studies together. I know you're branwashed to believe that we're godless socialists working insteril little offices like cogs in a machine. The truth is...we're not bro.

A Frenchman named Frederic Bastiat wrote a fantastic book titled The Law in the 1800's. This book castigated socialism. I think you'd enjoy it. But one of the points he made is that what makes a system unjust isn't taxation or government...it's when government takes from those who have to give to those who have not. It's perfectly just if government takes through taxation to provide a service available to all, including those who were taxed. Of course, that's classical capitalism.

Today, conservative capitalists are nothing more than corporatist anarchists...at least that's the image you guys project.

LOL generally means I am laughing, which means I am joking around. Don't take it so seriously. I know we need government.
