Oh they did indeed wear different colors.. actually Rob got very shocked one night.. one of the men had on a pink shirt.. and thats taking it too far for him.. but he usually wore white then... he has changed a lot in that aspect in the last few years.

AG, i think that pastor should have apologized. there was a church in south TX that use to have a list of standards on the door even for sinners.
sort of like the old "No shoes no shirt no service" ?
you couldn't enter if you didn't oblige.

Hubbys church he went to in Ms.. when we went back and visited.. well he called us that afternoon and told hubby he wanted him to sing and lead the service... so he got there early.. was told no because he had on a black shirt w his suit...

oh, okay, I've been to quite a few "white shirt only" churches.
It's best to always play it safe and go with white if you don't know their rules. that's another rule i have no idea how it became the Law of God but in some places it is

Well he attended church there for 10 yrs... but apparently in the last 4 he has changed and added this "new" rule.. it was shocking for us to say the least... yet the pastors daughter was on the keyboard in a knee length skirt with a split in it that well... my daddy used to say your skirt is only as long as where the split begins.. well that girl didnt have on no skirt if thats the case!!!!!!!

Until there is scripture for it I guess I will continue wearing colored french cuff shirt.
