Doctrine of what ....
Acts 2:38 part B?
You gloss over the Grace of God on calvay to place (ABI 2:38) on the alter.
But you stop and pause for your entire walk with God to share a doctrine of Hair that has nothing to do with getting into the Kingdom of God.
Do you preech that this "Hair" is a commandment after (ABI 2:38) experience?
How about the command of Christ in
Matthew 19:21 and 22?
Jesus Speaking,
"If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Does this mean that Christ is telling us all we need to sell everything and give it to the poor?
Christ says to be perfect! To have treasure in heaven you need to sell all and follow me.
You talk about Paul following Christ, Christ himself tells one to sell all and follow him.
Who do we follow Paul following Christ, or Follow Christ as Christ himself proclaims?
or could it be somethings are not salvational to the masses of saints in order to be saved.
The connection to the young man was he was rich..
To the Church at Corinth even Paul says we have no such custom.
This admonishment was specifically to Corinth because of their culture of that day...
Today we have no need to have this distinction of our woman cutting their hair to avoid appearing as those who have been found guilty of prostitution.
When you see a lady with cut hair today, do you tell yourself "I know what crime she has committed?"
You have never heard this argument.
because the Lord shared with me.
Outside the Grace of God and even the action of
Acts 2:38.
God deals with individuals differently.
I think that many of those who abide by the rule book of the UPCI standards.
Do it as bind drones following rules and not personal convictions of the Lord.
When something is a commandment it is not a standard.
When you sell everything you have and give it to the poor as Christ spoke to the Young man.
Then I will instruct my wife to stop cutting her hair and I will throw out my TV.
I think the following of the Actual Christ is worth more than following one who says follow me as "I" follow Christ.
Yet you would not sell all and give it to the poor....
