Women like men have different personalities...marriages differ...however the law of God is always the same.
I am a very active person, a talker, a worker, a people person...but that does not mean I can lead the home for the Bible clearly expresses who the leader is and if he does not lead the whole home is OUT of God's order...However there is a difference in leading and bullying...
I will speak from a lady's veiwpoint. Women in general WANT men to lead however if they do not someone has to do it...some men I have noticed don't want to face problems and solve them...they had rather leave that to their wife...some men want to be Mr GOOD and never rock the boat...

We have no problem in our home who leads. Brother Alvear is a fine christian and leads. He has his responsibilities and I have mine. We divide things out...He takes care of all the Brazilian business and since English is my native language I take care of our monthly letters and things that have to be done in English.
Just because the man is the leader gives him no right to make every decision alone...that in itself spells trouble. I do agree the last final decision should be the husband that decides however the wife has rights to express herself.
I think I have enough Bible to say the man should support his home but sadly we want so many gadgets and live far above our means (in general) so the woman in most cases works outside the home. (maybe more later)

I think couples need to talk more, pray more together, read the Bible together....It is easy to drift apart in this modern world. People have to work at making their marriages work...nothing instant...
The couple should decide together what God wants from them in the light od His word.

im dealing with it in my church. I got up to preach the other nite and i ask all of the henpecked men to stand up. They all stood up but one. I said "brother how come you didnt stand up like the rest of the men" He said "my wife wouldnt let me"
