Good morning

I feel so much of the time like a little kitten and everyone else is grown cats, concerning religion and computers.

Across the top of my screen in lold red it say ADRA SOME PLUGINS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE ETC and then I am discouraged from making a post about it,,,,,,,,,

I don't even know what a plug in is. Anyone want to take the time to explain in the simplest words possible what a plug in is?

Many years ago, after the robbery I stayed in my house with the doors and windows locked and blinds drawn. Many days I did not get dressed, my house was kept uncleaned for days, I could not pull up the energy or the interest to keep my house. Food stayed on counters for days at the time. And I never left the house. I would not answer the phone or let anyone in my house.

I was slowly going crazy.

And my sweet husband worked away from home and he would come home on the weekends and he would seen how regressed I was becoming but I refules to get help and he could not stay home and help me himself. One day out of the blue he said how would you like a computer. And for the first time in months I felt a small spark of interest. I would not have to leave my sanctuary for this.

We ordered a computer and it came and I followed the instructions and got it set up and had to read more instructions to find out how to cut it on.

I do not have a lot of computer knowledge.

So what is a plug in?

Good Morning ladies!

How is everyone today? I had a bit of a stressful morning but it is calming down now. We had no power last night when we got home from church, it didn't come on until sometime in the night - I was snoozing so I don't know what time but we went to bed without showers or baths so we had to get up this morning and take them which made my morning a little chaotic and stressful - causing me to run late to work. But thankfully I have a understanding boss. But I am here and feeling better, just trying to get warm. I guess they are saying that Thursday night and Friday we are supposed to get some bad wether, possibly up to 12 inches of snow......we'll see, hopefully they are wrong!

A- I am not sure what plug ins are either so I cannot help you. The only plug in could guess at would be the one in the back of the computer- Like mouse, keyboard etc. I suggest you go to the tech talk and post the question. My step son is my computer expert!!!!!!

I have no idea what the announcement about plugins is all about. As long as it doesn't keep me from being able to read or post, it won't affect me much.

Now if it crashes the forum, that would get a different reaction.

Some of the extra things that the new version added in Vbulletin was dragging the database down. We actually went down a couple times yesterday/last night.

So, Boom took a few of the new toys away. One was the list below of everyone that had logged in each day. Another was the thanks button. Not sure what else.

Having the power go off can sure cause problems...we don't realize how dependent we are until we filp that switch and go OH YAh..no power! We are having nasty cold weather, icy cold rain, snow, wind and just plain yucky! I am not going anywhere staying in and being good....
